Welcome to this great family that is IMEP.
IMEP is the first center attached to a public university (in this case, the Miguel Hernández University) specializing in Event Organization, Protocol and Institutional Relations.
In our more than 20 years of experience, we have trained more than 1,000 professionals.
We started this journey in 1997, and since then, our entire team strives, day after day, to offer training of the highest quality.
IMEP, the University of Events, is the first institution of its kind founded in the Valencian Community.
We were also the first to offer official university degrees in Event Organization.
As of today, our Official University Degree specializing in Events and Protocol is the only one that exists in our Community.

EMPLOYABILITY IN SPAIN AND IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT
EMPLOYABILITY IN SPAIN AND IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT
The broad professional profile acquired by our students allows them to access different jobs in communication and protocol departments, both in public institutions and in private companies in very diverse sectors.
In the specific case of Spain, the professionalization process of this type of department is producing a large increase in the employability of our graduates.
With regard to the international context, it is certainly important to think in global terms when projecting a professional future.
In this sense, we not only have to look at the employability rates in other countries, but also at the job opportunities offered by foreign multinationals and transnational institutions operating in our country (in Alicante we have a clear example with the EUIPO).

On the other hand, it is worth highlighting the tourist potential of our region and the growing number of international events it attracts, including fairs, exhibitions or top-level sporting events, such as the Volvo Ocean Race.
For this reason, at IMEP we train our students free of charge in English. In addition, we reward university students for their efforts by financing 100% of the fees for the exams framed in the MERC, the Oxford Test, in order to obtain official certifications for Europe such as B2 or C1.
The Expert degrees also have classes in English, with the same native teachers as those of higher education.
STUDENTS WHO NOW HOLD POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As of today, our former students are holding positions of responsibility such as:
- Heads of protocol in public administrations.
- Consultants and event organization managers in both national and international companies.
- Chiefs of staff in City Councils and Provincial Councils throughout Spain.
- Heads of communication or institutional relations in companies in sectors such as tourism, banking, fashion and design or food.
All these students who have now become magnificent professionals are the main guarantee that IMEP offers quality training, with many professional opportunities and adapted to the demands of today’s companies and institutions.
